As you may suspect, Cuisine de Vin, our summer fundraiser at Terra Blanca Winery is yet another casualty of COVID-19. Given the current phase of reopening, we simply cannot safely gather in groups large enough to support a physical event. Like so many others, we pivot and set our sights on other ways to stay connected and help disabled children in our community.
I’m happy to say, we’ve found a unique way to raise money. It’s called The Envelope Challenge, and during this online campaign, we’ll challenge our supporters to claim envelopes ranging from $1 to $300 – there is ONE envelope for each dollar amount.
Due to COVID-19, our normal event has been canceled for 2020: An evening of chefs and wine. Join us at the beautiful Terra Blanca Winery as chefs from throughout our Region tease your taste buds with their “signature dishes”. Each will be paired with a wine selection from one of our outstanding Red Mountain Wineries. Live music, Silent Auction. This is a “Garden Party” type event that will allow you to relax, enjoy and spend some time with friends new and old.
20th Annual Wine Fete — February 6, 2021
A beautiful upscale dinner and wine event will be held at Three Rivers Convention Center. You will enjoy a gourmet dinner, wine and have an opportunity to bid on live and silent auction items featuring wines from nearly all wineries in our region and many from throughout the West Coast. It has been said that this is the premier wine event in the Tri-Cities community.
The end of the year is the perfect time to make a donation to the Children’s Developmental Center. We run an annual mail appeal at a time when people are thinking ahead to their tax deductible donations. Funding of any amount is greatly appreciated.
